U.S. Patriot Act of 2001: The title indicates that if you don't agree with any and every portion, you are not a patriot!
The length and complexity of this document invites an obvious assertion that the entire document was written well before 9/11. Hmmm. PDF file: Read it and puke!

Editorial Comment: Many assert that FISA is old and out-dated, and needs to be brought into the 21st century because of advances in technology. Various senators mentioned the need to update FISA in recent Senate Oversight hearings against Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. The truth is, FISA has routinely been updated to keep it current with technology, including extensive revisions implemented by the USAPATRIOT Act. Apparently, Sean Hannity and various Senators have not read any of the relevant documents and have very little understanding of what they are talking about. My personal suggestion is that they read FISA and USAPATRIOT act, or simply be quiet about it.
